Hi, most of your cakes and other products have an ingredient called "mono- and diglyceride von Speisefettsauren" or E471. Can you please tell me whether this ingredient comes from animal fat or vegetable fat. Thank you.

Thank you for your large interest in our products. We are pleased over each positive reaction of our customers, because this confirms us in the effort around quality and taste of our cakes.

In principle we do not add any animal origin to our products. So also the greases, which we use, are vegetable origin. Only milk fats, in the form of for example quark, are inevitably animal origin.
